U2 360 world tour kicks off June 30 in Barcelona's Nou Camp Stadium. This is the group's first stadium tour in three years and supports U2's new album, No Line on the Horizon. North American shows will begin Sept. 12 at Chicago's Soldier Field. Other confirmed dates include Sept. 16 at Toronto's Rogers Centre, Sept. 20 at Boston's Gillette Stadium and Sept. 14 at New York's Giants Stadium.
Details for the staging of the show sound elaborate. The band collaborated with long-time show director Willie Williams, who has overseen U2's last four tours. The band will perform on a 360-degree stage design, which affords an unobstructed view for the audience.
